Review Policy

The review criteria will be the novelty and level of contribution, validity of conclusions, theoretical perspective and formal qualities of the contribution.

Papers which are received by the appropriate deadline and that conform to the layout guidelines will be included in the reviewing process. The reviewed and accepted full papers will be published in the Conference Proceedings CD and abstracts in the Book of Abstracts. The Conference ProceedingS CDs and Book of Abstracts will be distributed to the participants at the Conference.

DESIGN CINEMA 2008 Conference will accept various proposals:

• Conference paper proposals
• Work proposal
• Workshop proposals

Conference paper proposals will be evaluated by the Conference Scientific Committee. Conference papers should meet all the usual standards of quality for a publishing journal. The papers will be accepted on a double blind review basis made by the members of the Scientific Committee.  Reviewing process includes two phases; abstract review and full paper review.  After the abstract review phase, based on Scientific Committee reviews, authors of accepted abstracts will be advised by the Conference Organization Committee to submit the full paper of their abstracts.

Work proposals will be review by the Works Jury. Selected works will be invited for the Work Exhibition. Works Organization Committee may have additional requests from participants due to limited exhibition resources.

Workshop proposals should comply with the conference themes. Conference Organization Committee will work to give place to every workshop which will be submitted with a brief proposal.
